Make a intro/farewell section.
Make it so no one except leaders can respond to apps.

But a VB.
There are more though. But like a mod can take care of it.

Intro/Farewell sections are one of the most important part of a forum. Without it, you don't know who joined or who left.

I understand what you are saying but i dont think there is any point of an Introduction/Farewell section. My reasons are :
If you scroll all the way to the bottom it tells you the newest members that joined this forum.
Also if someone is leaving FOR REAL 99% of the time they just leave they dont make a quit thread.

It's still nice for people to introduce themselves, so we could know them a little better.
